"at least 40 conventions were canceled since the bill was signed, and who knows how many that were in the planning stages dropped arizona out of consideration since then?" Hoosier
You say 40, while he says 13. One(or both) of yall is lying, here.

And the collectivists think that free market choices are a bad thing, while taking full advantage of them. In their utopia they would be relegated to rioting while inhaling tear gas.

one waitress said convention business was half of what it was BEFORE the boycott was announced. it has had an effect already, and like all the articles said, some of the conventions had been booked years in advance and when they tried to cancel, they were told they would have to pay a cancellation fee..some did, some went ahead...but the main concern was how many convention planners took arizona off their list as soon as the boycott was announced....

Let me ask you a question. Let's say you organize some big protest against the law, and bus in hundreds of professional protesters, that liberals frequently employ, Phoenix. They spend all day with those heavy signs, walking in the high heat and decrying against law and order. You know, earning their paycheck. The protest last well into the evening. Will you expect these tired protesters to drive about two hundred miles to leave the state, before they can get a room for the night? Will they be allowed to eat local food, or will they have to bring cold pizza and warm Coke from another state? Let's be realistic. The more protesters that arrive to denounce the law, the more the local businesses will have to provide for their needs(sell them stuff).

The stupid fucking liberals just can't stand it when a state actually tries to do something about illegal slimeballs infiltrating our country to spread violence, drugs, and disease.
WTF is wrong with you assholes ?
